The call for writers deadline for the show “For and About” has been extended to August 29th, 2013.  This call is open to literary artists based in Brooklyn, who wish to publish work for those affected by Hurricane Sandy, and/or about the storm’s impact on Brooklyn on the web and in a limited edition zine. It is an opportunity to focus on the communities hit hardest by the storm, creating a space to reflect on the collective and individual experiences at the one-year anniversary.

To apply send your written work(s) in .doc, .docx or .pdf format to gallery@brooklynartscouncil.org. Include your name, address, phone number, website (if applicable) and bio in the body of the email and use the subject line “For and About Written Works.”
