In addition to relying on word of mouth and already existing relationships with arts organizations Artists are looking for new and reliable resources for support. To date three online resources for artists that have been updating their sites regularly are Kickstarter, New York Foundation for the Arts and Creative Capital.

NYFA often receives calls from artists requesting information on emergency grants to serve financial need or an emergency such as bereavement or illness so they are well equipt to pull together a reliable resource for these times.
The resources on this site target relief funds that are either long standing funders or set up to address the specific needs created by COVID-19
