This solo show by Ryan Seslow exhibits an artist for the new millennium. Ryan approaches his work in a true “cut and paste” fashion, taking from his experience as a street artist, video artist, painter, sculptor and installation artist. His prolific work style pulls imagery and objects from throughout his impressive collection of work to create an installation that speaks to our times and somehow offers up a universal and personal experience. While referencing pop-culture, the work of contemporary artists, religious iconography, and the list goes on…, Ryan’s imagery is uniquely his own.
Ryan Seslow is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in New York. Seslow shows his work internationally, and is a Professor of Fine Arts teaching studio courses simultaneously between 4 colleges in the NY area.
